Double Daisy Upcycled Gift Bag

Hello everyone, Sylvia here with one of my One Stamp projects, a gift bag and tag using the double daisy stamp set.  This is such a versatile stamp, this project is simple stamping, embossing and paper piecing using the following materials.

I had a plain kraft bag hanging around in my work room which I thought would be handy to decorate when I needed a nice bag for a gift .  I love the daisy stamps as the size is ideal for larger project such as this so the bag was transformed into a gift bag with a tag.

The daisies were stamped and embossed, the paper pieced daisies were stamped and embossed onto plain card and coloured with jubilee red pure ink, fussy cut and attached to various daisies on the bag to give a splash of colour.

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend and crafting along with the One Stamp Weekend with the fabulous double daisy stamp set.   Don't forget to leave a comment on any or all the posts throughout the weekend for the chance to win a prize.

The Beautiful Double Daisy Stamp - Plus an MDF Heart.

Hello everyone.
This is my last guest blog post for February on The Oak House Studio Blog.
I've really enjoyed using all of the Oak House Studio Stamps and products.

This MDF heart was painted in Black Gesso then embossed using versamark ink and black embossing powder ... Three layers! During the last layer of powder, while it was still molten, I pressed the Double Daisy Stamp down onto the MDF Heart (watch your fingers cos its hot!) and held it there for a while... the impression was lovely and deep, so on went some mica powders and glitter bling, along with a small amount of  Treasure Gold gilding wax.
This stamp is perfect for the job!
Thanks for looking today.
Lynnda.. thank you so much for inviting me to guest blog here this month. I've had a great time.
