Hello, my name is Anne (or Redanne as I am know in blogland)!
I am thrilled to be here today and for the next three Fridays, as Lynnda's guest.
I have loved every minute of using Lynnda's wonderful stamps and inks and I would like to say a huge thank you to Lynnda for asking me to be guest designer.
For my first project I have used the small sunflower stamp to create a stepped image card:
I love this style of card and it is so easy to do.
Cut six pieces of card, three in a light colour and three in a dark colour. The 5.1/2" x 8.1/2" dark card has been folded in half in the above photo and this makes your base card. I used brown and cream card for my finished card.
Layer up the three light pieces of card, as evenly as possible. I usually hold them with some low tack tape so they do not go out of line. Using Colour Chemistry Pigment Ink in Slate Grey and the small stamp, stamp randomly over the card. It gives a much better finished impression if you stamp over all three layers. Don't worry if there are any gaps in your stamping, they will get covered up.

To create impact I just coloured one of the sunflowers, using Citrus Yellow, Pumpkin Pie and Simply Chocolate Colour Chemistry Ink in a Bottle, using a small paint brush - I just love the intensity of the colours when they are applied undiluted and they are permanent too!
I coloured some cream ribbon with Citrus Yellow and Pumpkin Pie inks, they colour ribbon beautifully and the colours are gorgeous! I used my heat tool to dry the ribbon, which I scrunched up. You will get very inky fingers at this stage, but I think that is half the fun!
To create more impact I added some brown seed beads to the centre of the sunflower.
Mat and layer the elements and you can now see how any 'missed' areas of stamping are covered up. I love the illusion that this design of card creates.
Here's the finished card again. I attached the ribbon and bow and I also added a charm. You could add a sentiment, but I wanted the sunflower and ribbon to take centre stage on my card.
