Wooden it be lovely

Summer School is a special time at the studios, we working on making the classes extra special with lots of lovely food and extra materials.

Today's class was all about stamping on wood and we managed to create some lovely things to  take home to show our loved ones how much we had thought about them during the day ; )

This part of the day was the quickest and each of these frames was created in around 10 minutes. Different people like different colour schemes so that is the good thing about such workshops but the Walesby Texture stamp was the most popular for adding texture, these examples have different sizes of the same design. Please note we weren't using a conventional ink pad for these frames, hence the softer patterning we achieved.

Some of our summer school days are fully booked now although I am happy to look at people wanting to take cancellation spaces.
I have added an extra half day wood class on Friday 3rd August which should be on the website soon. We will cover this technique on that.

Look forward to see you all at the studios soon.
