Hi Everyone I hope your all having a fab weekend the sun is finally shining on us in the North East of England  although the wind is bitterly cold.

Today I have a quick little gift bag to share with you all, whilst tidying my craft room I came across these small little white bags goodness knows where they came from or how long I have had them, I thought one would look perfect with the Oak House Studios  English Garden words stamped onto a Die cut.I have over stamped the words with the Scroll Frames in Spring Green Colour Chemistry pigment Ink the main focus which is the gorgeous Medium Oak House Studios Rose stamp.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend Hugs

Bloom Where you are Planted

Hi Everyone its Debbie here with my very first post on the blog, did you all enjoy the excitement of the weekend with the one stamp project, there was lots of gorgeous inspiration being posted!!

I thought I would kick start my week with a clean and simple card ( I seem to be making a lot of these lately lol) The yellow background you can just see was inked with the colour chemistry Citrus collection spray inks, the Bloom where you are planted sentiment can be found at Oak House Studio My Main focus is the Gorgeous Large Rose stamp Which has been coloured with copics hope you all enjoyed my first card see you all later on in the week.

Thank you for a great time

A huge thank you to everyone who has joined in the project this time. We will be having the same fun again in September (21st and 22nd). I hope you have been inspired to look at your stamp stash again and maybe think about adding some Oak House Studio loveliness to your own stash. It is my aim to give you versatile products all the time, quality products that will last and products that will inspire.
If you have made anything with this stamp I would be really grateful if you could send me a photo as I am creating a gallery for the blog and my studio. Please email your images to me at lynndaw@gmail.com

Here are few images from the studio to start it off, we obviously in a purple mood.

One Stamp Event

Elaine here with my last post for the One Stamp 24hr challenge.  A card using up some small squares of inked card from an earlier project along with a Utee Decorative Diamond.  As you will have realised by now,  Oak House Studio stamps are made of a tough polymer which gives crisp stamping and heat resistance - so melt your embossing powders and pour over the stamp.

Well it's 8pm, the end of Lynnda's 24hr stint crafting with just the Decorative Diamond stamp and I hope you've been inspired by all the artwork on this blog and on the ONE STAMP facebook page.  I'm sure Lynnda herself will be on here later (or maybe tomorrow) to show you what she has been creating too.

Meanwhile thank you for looking and commenting.  I have a strange feeling she has another 24hr event lined up for later in the year but I have no idea what the one stamp will be then.....watch this space!

Enjoy Spring by Elaine

A Spring card this time to brighten up your day....made using the Decorative Diamond stamp for the ONE STAMP event.

Another simple card with a two tone background.  I've inked the Decorative Diamonds and the Enjoy stamp with the Colour Chemistry Spring Green Pigment Ink Pad and clear embossed!!

The event finishes at 8pm so check back then for more inspiration!!

Christmas Bauble by Elaine

An early Christmas card with the Decorative Diamond from Oak House Studio made for the ONE STAMP event.

For this one I've used Raspberry Versacolor and clear embossed the Decorative Diamond stamp.  I've added a little sparkle with a Sakura pen and some gems.   The bauble is hanging from a fir branch - the Fir Stamp is from the Christmas Collection, stamped with Laurel Versacolour and embossed with Holographic Super Sparkle embossing powder.  The card is just finished with the Christmas Blessings stamp.

Only another 3hrs of crafting to go for Lynnda - I'm guessing she's eating a bacon butty with one hand and colouring with the other!!   A couple more posts on here and who knows how many on the ONE STAMP facebook page - keep looking and commenting!

Just for You by Suzejo

Suzejo again with another beautifully coloured card using the Decorative Diamond stamp as the focal point.  Don't you just love the geometric design!  Other stamps she's used are the Walesby Flourish, the Mack Rose and the Hessian background.

More designs coming from the Design Team and check out the ONE STAMP facebook page  - I know Suzejo has been busy there too.  If you are local to the studio why not pop along to see Lynnda  (till 4pm) to cheer her on and join in the fun.

Diamond Wedding by Elaine

A more literal take for Oak House Studio's ONE STAMP event  - I've used the Decorative Diamond for a Diamond Wedding Card.

I wanted to have a go at an all white card using plain, linen and hammered card but decided it would be difficult to photograph so I've added a hint of colour.  The Congratulations and the Decorative Diamond are stamped using Polar Versacolor and embossed with Holographic Super Sparkle - to add to the sheen I've painted the diamond with Pearly Silver Ink in a Bottle (Colour Chemistry).  I've added more sparkle through some sequin waste and finished with white ribbon and glitter card.

I know I chose Diamond White for this card but just change your ink colour for a Golden or Ruby Wedding card etc.

I hope you are enjoying seeing what the Design Team have been doing with just this one stamp. If you are local why not pop along to see Lynnda (till 4pm today) to cheer her on and join in the fun.  If you live too far away, then check back here regularly today for more inspiration from the Design Team or try the ONE STAMP facebook page.  And please leave comments - she still has 7 hrs to go!!

Up, Up and Away by Debbie

Another bright and cheery card with the Decorative Diamond flying high!

I have used the Decorative Diamond stamp in my Kite die to create this clean and simple card.  It has been coloured using copics with Glossy Accents added on top to give some dimension.

Diamond Notebook by Elaine

Another project with the Decorative Diamond stamp for the ONE STAMP event - this time a little notebook with tags etc.

Firstly I randomly sprayed an A3 sheet of white linen card with Colour Chemistry Ink in a Bottle - Citrus Yellow, Citrus Orange and Glorious Gold.  I then cut it up to create 9 pages, some with pockets, and backed it with orange and white card.  I stamped the pages with Colour Chemistry Pigment Ink Pads - Lemon Yellow and Daffodil - and used various Oak House Studio stamps - the Decorative Diamond, Small and Large Harlequins and the Small Squares and Tag Palette Stamps.

I've used Decorative Diamonds (embossed with Midnight Sparkle Embossing Powder) to create tabs on the section dividers and also to decorate the cover.  The little book is held together with ring binders and decorated with ribbon and beads.

There's plenty of space for your notes, photos etc

Lynnda is at the Studio for another 12 hours of crafting - if you are local why not pop along to see her  (between 10am-4pm) to cheer her on and join in the fun.  If you live too far away, then check back here regularly today for more inspiration from the Design Team or see what others have been posting on the ONE STAMP facebook page.

Cute as a Button by Suzejo

Good Morning everyone.   Day Two of the ONE STAMP event and what could be better to wake you up in the morning than Suzejo's Button Girl with the Decorative Diamond skirt.

Very inventive this one - not only has she used the Harlequin and Stitch in Time stamps, but the girl has a button face and button fishnets!!

Lynnda should just have arrived at the Studio for another 12 hours of crafting - if you are local why not pop along to see her  (between 10am-4pm) to cheer her on and join in the fun.  If you live too far away, then check back here regularly today for more inspiration from the Design Team or try the ONE STAMP facebook page - they're only the click of a button away!

Diamond Bookmark by Elaine

A bookmark for the ONE STAMP event using the Decorative Diamond stamp from Oak House Studio.

I've clear embossed the Decorative Diamond stamp on either side of the bookmark, silver embossed on some spare card for the middle one and coloured all three with a Sakura Stardust pen.  On the reverse I've stamped the Walesby Flourish and again coloured to give a little sparkle and interest.

Well that's day one of the 24hr ONE STAMP event over.   Lynnda will be just finishing today but will be back in the Studio at 8am sharp in the morning creating more projects.  The Design Team will be here again tomorrow so please come back and take a look.   More creations will be on the ONE STAMP page on Facebook.  If you are local why not pop into the studio and join in the fun tomorrow - between 10am-4pm - give her some encouragement!!

Christmas Decoration by Elaine

A glittery Christmas Decoration made with the Decorative Diamond stamp from Oak House Studio.

I silver embossed the Decorative Diamonds on gold pearl card and coloured and glittered them with Stickles.  I glued the diamonds together and used some gold ribbon with a bell attached (off a Lindt Bunny!) to hang it up.  Apologies for the out of focus photo!!

Getting late now but Lynnda still has 90 minutes to go.  There'll be more posts on here later and no doubt more on the ONE STAMP page on Facebook so please pop back to see what others have been creating.

Art Deco Style by Elaine

A different use for the Decorative Diamond stamp on a scrapbook page - an Art Deco style to go with the photo of the Art Deco Hotel on Burgh Island in Devon.

The Decorative Diamond stamp was stamped with Colour Chemistry Midnight Pigment Ink onto card sprayed with Spode Blue, Jubilee Blue and Pearl Silver Ink in a  Bottle.  The words were printed on the computer and the page was just finished with the Checker Board Border stamp in Forest Green Pigment Ink.

Hope you're enjoying all the Diamonds - still a few more posts to go today and there'll be more on the ONE STAMP page on Facebook so please keep popping back to see what others have been creating. Lynnda has 5 more hours to craft today (then another 12hrs tomorrow!).  Give her some encouragement by leaving some comments for her.....and thanks for looking.

If  you're local, you can always pop in and see her - between 10am-4pm tomorrow. Why not join in the fun!!

Rosette by Debbie

Welcome back - here's another card using the Decorative Diamond stamp for the One Stamp event.

I have used the Decorative Diamond stamp to create a Rosette.  I stamped the Diamond in 3 of the Colour Chemistry Ink Pads Orchid,Valentine and Spring Green.  A great colour combination making a lovely bright Thank You card.

There'll be more samples on here all weekend and on the ONE STAMP page on Facebook so please keep popping back to see what others have been creating.  And please leave a comment to keep Lynnda going for the next 24hours!!  If  you're local, you can always pop in and see her - till 4pm today or between 10am-4pm tomorrow - join in the fun!!

Faux Batik Blues by Elaine

A Faux Batik style card using the Decorative Diamond for the ONE STAMP challenge and lots of Colour Chemistry Ink in a Bottle!

The nine Decorative Diamonds were clear embossed on white card and then sprayed with Colour Chemistry Ink in a Bottle - Spode Blue at the top, then Jubilee Blue with Peacock Green at the bottom.  I then blended some Colour Chemistry Pigment Ink in places - Powder Blue towards the top and Forest Green at the bottom.   Lastly I ironed the card to remove the embossing powder and make the images pop more.  The card is finished with Best Wishes stamped in Forest Green, some green wired organza and silver mirri card.

Morrocan Tile by Suzejo

Another super idea for the Decorative Diamond stamp by Suzejo for the ONE STAMP event happening at Oak House Studio this weekend.

Five Decorative Diamonds used to make a star.  Whilst this would look great on a card, Suzejo has in fact done this on a bathroom tile and coloured in a Morrocan style.  Wouldn't you just love a border in your bathroom like this!!   For the background, Suzejo has used the Harlequin and also stamps from the Stitch in Time set.

Remember to pop back later for more inspiration from the Design Team and head on over to the ONE STAMP page on Facebook to see what others have been creating.  I'm Suzejo will be posting on Facebook too.  Please leave a comment here or there to keep Lynnda going for the next 24hours!!

British Life by Elaine

I looked at the Decorative Diamond and thought of bunting hence the red, white and blue colour scheme for this ONE STAMP card.

The Decorative Diamond is inked with Indigo Versacolor, clear embossed and then coloured with a red Tombow marker.  I've folded 3 over some bakers twine to create pennants and used 2 either side of the sentiment.  To add to the red, white and blue feel I've cleared embossed the Union Jack stamp on the background.

Remember to pop back later for more inspiration from the Design Team and head on over to the ONE STAMP page on Facebook to see what others have been creating.  And please leave a comment to keep Lynnda going for the next 24hours!!

One Stamp 24hr Event

Today's the day - Lynnda is at the Studio and ready to get started on her 24hrs of crafting with just the Decorative Diamond stamp.   They say you should never buy a stamp unless you can think of 5 ways to use it but I'm sure she'll come up with loads of inspirational ways to use this stamp over the weekend.

Lynnda will try posting her projects from the Studio (signal permitting) but there'll be plenty to see on here with the Design Team's projects and others will be posting on the ONE STAMP page on Facebook.  If you live locally, then pop along and join in the fun between 10am-4pm.

But to get us started, here is a quick fun card by Elaine.

I've embossed the Decorative Diamond and coloured it with Tombow pens - the brightest I had - to create a kite.   The tail is the Curly stamp from the Christmas Collection!!  A great design for a children's card or maybe that teenager starting their first job.

Hope you'll find today interesting and pop back in an hour or so for a different idea with the Decorative Diamond stamp.

Stamping for 24 hours with one stamp

This weekend I am going to be tucked away in my studio working with ONE STAMP, so why would someone with such a huge stash of stamps decide to do that you might ask. Well it is simple, I am constantly amazed by how many people don't really get stamping and just what a stamp can do. Every open day we have at the studio complex I have my studio in, there will several people who just don't get it. I use the same sentences over and over again, A stamp is just a way to transfer a design, you can stamp on to metal, on to glass, on to plastic, on to fabrics, you can stamp into all sorts of clays like precious metal clays.
I once told a lady you could stamp on glass and she proceeded to ask if you could use this stamp, or that stamp and she must have pointed to 50% of the stamps we had in the shop at the time and believe me that was a lot of stamps.
So after this weekend I will have a shelf full of different projects using just one stamp. We did this last year and boy did we have a lot of fun and to be fair I could spend 24 hours with that same stamp and still do different projects.
This time it I have picked a stamp to challenge myself. A new stamp I haven't had that long that was designed to do a specific project, ie make a 5 pointed star ( Think western Christmas). Here are some images from that first project.

I am really pleased that a lot more people are joining in this time too. Well I hope we all enjoy this weekend, I hope we open some eyes and inspire people to try to do more with their stamps.

Arrangements for 24 hours One Stamp weekend

Here is an outline of what is happening over the weekend. I am no spring chicken so I break the 24 hours down into two lots of 12 hours so 8am to 8pm both Saturday and Sunday. For these 12 hours each day I will be at the studio working on projects with the featured stamp. I will be stopping to eat and drink and visit the loo etc.
If you can get to the studio, you are welcome to come along between 10am and 4pm on either day. You should be aware that I will be in full crafting mode, you are welcome to join in, make a brew or just cheer from a safe distance, there will be lots to do and all help and best wishes are most welcome.
For those of you a bit further away, I will be posting what I can via facebook and the design team will be posting through out the weekend, plus we have some extra guest bloggers. I really hope you can all find a way to join in the fun and I hope that everyone gets some inspiration from this project.
Here is one project I did with the stamp last week (yes 24 hours is really long enough) I have taken some very basic (cheap) A4 file dividers shown them some Colour Chemistry ink in a bottle and then stamped on them in wine pigment ink. The original colours give the variation along with using various ink colours that have a red base.
