New Year New You

How many times have you seen a title or banner like that this month?
Too many I guess. But January is a time for reflection and hoping for the new year to bring some progress towards where we think we want to be in life.
I thought I would share something I started doing a few year ago. Making a card to send yourself. Something you can have out and in your eye line to remind you to be good to yourself or why you are going through what ever it is. Over the years I have developed this into a "postcard" an A6 card or 15 cm by 10 cm OR 6 inches by 4 inches in old money. All three of these measurements are slightly different but they all serve the purpose. I like it because it is a nice discreet size, you can add it to a greetings card or buy a photo frame for not very much money.

So today I am going to challenge my design team to make a postcard to themselves and you can join in if you wish. My challenge to you all is take a piece card (sizes above) and make something you want to look at this year. It maybe words or pictures or both. I would love to see what you do. You can always make one for a friend too if you like or better still get them to be creative for themselves.
Please feel free to post your projects on our facebook page, or leave a link to your project on your blog here. I will put together a special kit for someone who inspires me with their project. I will select a winner on 26th January 2014.

Here are a few I made to frame for my house now the builders have finally left, I made so many I have some to spare.
