Turquoise Tree

Elaine here to show you a quick project using Oak House Studio's Ink in a Bottle.  Some of you might be thinking spray inks are only for art journalling using stencils and are very messy but really it doesn't need to be.  I made this ATC for a dictionary challenge where the theme was the letter T.

I sprayed my ATC with a mix of Peacock Green and Jubilee Blue Ink in a Bottle to create a Turquoise background and then stamped the Beech Tree (an Oak House Studio stamp) in Onyx Black Versafine.  To create the Tessellated Tile border I cut up two smaller bits of card - one sprayed with Citrus Orange Ink in a Bottle for Tangerine and the other with a mix of Citrus Orange, Jubilee Red and Brazil Nut to make a Terracotta colour.    I challenged myself to use as many Ts as possible!!

I've lost track of how many different colours there are in the Ink in a Bottle range - new ones are always being added and I hear new Christmas colours will be on sale shortly.  Lynnda is giving away some Ink in a Bottle for you to try - just leave a comment on the post above for your chance to win, but hurry as the give away ends on 31st July .......good luck!
