Hello everyone, Anne here again!
Today is my 4th and final project as Lynnda's Guest. It has been a real pleasure
and privilege to use Lynnda's wonderful stamps and fabulous inks - thank you so
much for having me here Lynnda!
much for having me here Lynnda!
This week I wanted to show how versatile Lynnda's Colour Chemistry inks are and
I used the bottled ink to colour everything from the base card to the butterflies
and roses. I made two cards using Karen Burniston's original accordion die by Sizzix.
This is two cards side by side, I wanted to show how the butterflies appear to be flying,
by adding a layer of acetate.
by adding a layer of acetate.
the CC Ink Pad in Slate Grey and applied clear embossing powder. The butterflies
and roses were coloured and fussy cut.
which I added to a spritzer bottle but you could equally paint the inks on.
For the darker card I spritzed the base card with the yummy Simply Chocolate CC ink
and I added a card based sentiment panel - coloured in the absolutely fabulous
Vintage Sepia ink, my new favourite, it is perfect for 'ageing' elements.
Apologies, the acetate makes it hard to get a decent photo.
I just love the effect it adds by giving the impression of the butterflies
fluttering away.

Always awesome. What wonders you've done with this butterfly die...I've never seen it look so gorgeous. Having the beautifully colored butterflies floating on the acetate created such a different look. And these ink colors are just so pretty. You were a spectacular Guest Designer, and they could not have picked a more talented crafter for this assignment. TFS & Hugs Oops forgot to say thanks for showing all the pictures too. I am a visual learner, so that helps me. (IF I remember what I saw and where I saw it!).
