Chocolate And Blue A winning Combination

Hi everyone, Sylvia here with a short tutorial using the new double daisy and sentiment set as featured on the Hochanda TV shows.  The above card was a DT sample I made for the show and below is how I created it, this time using blue daisies with the chocolate background and also altering the layout slightly.

To make the card you will need the following:

Oak House Studio Double Daisy Large Updated stamp set (daisies and sentiment)
Oak House Studio Daisies and Rainbow Stamp Set (small daisies)
Oak House Studio Pure Colour Chemistry Ink Waterfall
Oak House Studio Colour Chemistry pigment ink pad Yummy Chocolate
Oak House Studio  Embossing Powder Clear
Embossing folder of your choice
White and brown card
Scissors, glue, brayer and heat gun

Make a top fold card blank 10.50cm x 14.70cm (half A4).  Cut brown card to measuring slightly smaller than the card front and a piece of white card slightly smaller than the brown card.  Emboss the white card with an embossing folder.  Load a brayer with pigment ink and roll the colour onto the embossed card and leave to dry.

Colour a piece of card with the pure colour spray ink and leave to dry.  When dry stamp the outline daisy twice using pigment ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.  Cut out the two daisies, curl a few of the petals and stick together to make a double daisy.

Cut an oblong of white card and one in brown card slightly larger.  Stamp the sunshine sentiment onto the white card using pigment ink and emboss with clear embossing powder, stamp the small daisy with pigment ink at either side of the sentiment and emboss with clear embossing powder.

Assemble to card, stick the brown card onto the card blank, the embossed card onto brown and the daisy where you want it to go.  Stick the stamped sentiment onto the oblong brown card and place on the card under the daisies.

Same card with different colour daisy and placement of sentiment

As you can see the slight change in layout and colour can make a card individual although it follows the same design style.

Great tutorial and great card too. Love the design and both colour schemes!
