Fun With Colour Chemistry

Hi everyone
my name's Kath and I'm very excited to be joining you as Guest Designer for Oak House Studio...a big thank you to Lynnda for asking me and for letting me play with her fabulous products.
I created a wallhanger using Stampbord Square Coasters
and started off laying the Stampbord squares end to end...and used Colour Chemistry Inks In a Bottle Delicious Damson and Citrus Lime with the small spritzer bottles to spray the background
then I stamped the Mini Harlequin Pattern with the Slate Grey Colour Chemistry Pigment Ink Pad and dried with a heat tool. I then cleaned the stamp and reinked with Versamark and stamped slightly to the left to create a drop shadow.  I sprinkled with White Detail Embossing powder and heat set.  Finally I added the English Garden Words again inked with Slate Grey.
To create the flowers I stamped one of the hearts and buttons from the Stitch In Time Stamp Set onto watercolour paper using Slate Grey
and coloured using a small drop of Colour Chemistry Ink In A Bottle Delicious Damson and a water brush to create a watercolour effect...drying between layers to build up some shadow
then I cut out the hearts and buttons leaving a white border around the edge and fixed to the wall hanger along with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Small Talk Stickers and Arrow
I stamped the circles by tapping the lid of the spritzer bottle on to the Slate Grey ink pad and finished off with dots of Enamel Accents and a flittering of Glamour Dust on the hearts and flowers
I hope you enjoyed my first project as Guest Designer
I'll be back soon to share what else I've made
in the meantime here are the products I used
