Love Lives In A Garden...

Hi Everyone
it's Kath back again with my 2nd project for my Guest Designer Spot
and can I just say a big thank you for all your lovely comments on last week's project.
This time I decided to make a Garden Planner...an ideal gift for Father's Day...we all know how difficult it is to come up with gift ideas for the men in our lives...
so here's my alternative to the usual "last minute panic stations buy"..the  boring pack of socks...a Garden Planner
I started off by inking up the Square Grid stamp with Versamark ink and stamping on to white card...dusted with Detail White Embossing Powder and heat to set. Then it was time for some fun, spritzing with Colour Chemistry Inks In a Bottle. Once the ink was dry I used a piece of slightly damp kitchen roll to remove the ink from the embossed section and overstamped English Garden Words inked with the Yummy Chocolate (doesn't that name make you want to lick your lips) Colour Chemistry Pigment Ink Pad.
I have to confess that I've fallen head over heels in love with the gorgeous Double Daisy Stamp Set...a two for the price of one set...use together as I did to create this scribbly effect flower or separately and I love the effect you get when you use the Triple Fruity Reds ink pad.
Time to add some Tim Holtz embellishments...an Adage Ticket hung from a swivel clasp, label letters and Word Play die cuts alphabets coloured by dabbing with the Triple Fruity Reds ink pad to complete the sentiment...
and why not spritz plain white organza ribbon with Colour Chemistry Inks In a Bottle
for the perfectly colour co-ordinated finishing touch.
and here are Oak House Studio products I used
Colour Chemistry Inks In a Bottle
Tempting Teal
Citrus Lime
30ml Spray Bottle
Stamps
Square Grid
English Garden Words
Double Daisy
Colour Chemistry Ink Pads
Yummy Chocolate Pigment Ink
Triple Fruity Reds Pigment Ink
Thanks for your company and I'll see you all again next time
Hugs Kath xxx

Love the big Daisies on this piece and the square grid just adds loads of interest to the background. Fab project!
