Special Edition Rose Stamps

Elaine here with a new Rose sample for the next show on HOCHANDA TV - Friday 4th December at 3pm and 6pm.    Lynnda has done Roses before but here I have used the SPECIAL EDITION ROSE SET in which you get 11 separate stamps.

For the main background I have used JUBILE RED PURE COLOUR ink (and a little Pearly Silver) sprayed on the card and used the Solid Rose to add extra ink and create a rose background.  I used the Rose Border to pick up more ink for the striped rose background and with the rest of the ink on my messy mat I coloured some seam binding.  For the green background I've silver embossed the Outline Rose stamp and sprayed over this with PETER'S PEAR PURE COLOUR.

The main image is the beautiful Rose stamp, silver embossed and painted with Jubilee Red and Peter's Pear and framed with pink card.  I've added the Smile stamp and Time to smell the Roses stamp inked with BURGUNDY PIGMENT INK and again matted on pink circles.  The card is just finished with the Three Dot Accent stamp and the Faux Sewing stamp.

I've used 8 of the 11 stamps on this card but there are 2 further sentiments and a Square Accent stamp so the possibilities are endless.   Please don't forget to leave a comment on this post or any of the DT's posts this week for your chance to win £100 of crafting goodies.

Thanks for looking!

Elaine xx

Another fabulous card Elaine x I love how this shows the versatility of the fab inks as you say you both created the green background and painted the rose image with Peters Pear, it shows how varied you can get the depth of colours with just one ink x fabulous

This card really shows the versatility of Oak House Studio inks. These inks are perfect for much more than just stamping as Elaine shows us with this card. I love the idea of colouring ribbon and background papers - thanks for the using the inks in this way Elaine - your card design, colour and composition are all wonderful.
