Take 5 Challenge With Totally Turquoise and Waterfall Inks

Hi Sylvia here with two quick cards for the Take 5 April Challenge Something Blue.  I like to keep a selection of simple cards to hand which can be used for any occasion, especially thank you cards.  These cards are quick to make and look good in any colour.  Blue is one of my favourite colours especially the totally turquoise and waterfall pure colour chemistry inks.

This card uses totally turquoise Pure Colour Chemistry ink for the background

To make my two cards I coloured two squares of stamping card one with totally turquoise and the other with waterfall spray ink and stamped randomly with a selection of small stamps using the triple sky blue ink pad.  The daisies were die cut from a baby wipe used to mop up the blue inks, these were overstamped with small stamps using the darkest shade on the triple sky blue ink pad and added to the stamped squares.  These squares were matted and layered with navy card then onto a white linen card blanks.

This type of quick card is ideal for any occasion and makes a lovely gift if presented in a set with envelopes and a ribbon tied round.

Materials Used:

Keep checking the blog for more Something Blue projects from the design team throughout April.
