Lynndas Leaves & Oriental Textures

Elaine here with a quick card using the Oriental Texture stamps and the Sycamore from Lynnda's Leaves set which are both featured on Hochanda TV on January 20th at 11am and 3pm.

The Serenity Prayer is stamped in black and then I've used first & second generation stamping of the Sycamore using the Triple Fruity Red Pigment Ink Pad to decorate the front.  For the border I've again stamped the Sycamore in the Triple Fruity Red Ink. The card is finished with Good Luck from the Build Your Own Sentiments set which will also be featured on TV - a great selection of words to mix and match along with flourishes.

I think the Sycamore lends itself to an oriental theme and the Triple Red ink pad makes creating an ombre effect easy.    Don't forget to tune into HOCHANDA TV next Wednesday - Freeview 39, 11am and 3pm - for more inspiration from Lynnda and the team.

The combination of leaves and text works really well - love the colours, so autumnal

Love this! I like the way the more faded stamps make it look like background is coming through to the front.
