Double Daisy Wall Plaque

Elaine here with another project using the Double Daisy set.  For this I've used a plaque that I picked up in the 99p store - grey, didn't like the words etc - but it had a heart attached to it and potential.

I forgot to take a before photo but I sanded the words off and painted on a couple of coats of Emerald and Peridot Acrylic Ink - these are really rich colours that dry with a shine.  I've just added a little gold gilding wax around the edge with my finger.

I stamped the large Outline Daisy onto some acetate and painted the back with a mix of Paris Pink and Citrus Yellow Pure Colour mixed into some Acrylic Medium and left this to dry.  The rest I just painted onto some card and added the words. I've backed the acetate Daisy with some Citrus Yellow sprayed card, stamped with the Solid Daisy inked with the Triple Sunshine Yellow Inks and kiss stamped the Dots.

Hope you like this and thanks for visiting.  Don't forget to pop back later to see more ideas and inspiration from the team!

Your altered bargain buy turned out beautifully, love the green background with the orangy yellow two layer daisy.
