One Stamp! Candle and Acetate box lid

Here are two of the projects I made for the One Stamp Challenge.

For the first project I took an old jewellery box and used the lid as it was a lovely colour inside and had the ribbon to hang from a Christmas tree. I made a lid from heat resistant acetate. I stamped the pretty Christmas Corner with Versamark ink and added Copper Detailed Embossing Powder which I then heat embossed. On the reverse of the acetate I used glass paints to colour the image. On the front I added glitter glue and gems. I then made up the lid and added ribbon around the edge to hide the super sticky tape I'd used to make the corners strong. A great way to use up old boxes!

For the second project I took a cheap candle. I stamped the Christmas Corner onto tissue paper cut out the image, held it against the candle with wax paper and heated it until the paper adhered to the candle.
Hope you like the projects!

Love the way you decorated the box lid. It almost looks enamelled!
