Lynnda here with a quick card and new stamp. Do you like this new sentiment?
I have embossed it in our Red embossing powder, which is perfect for this time of year.
This is a 15 cm card, so I have used a 14cm square piece of cream stamping card and simply stamped and embossed using clear embossing ink and Gold detail powder. The corners fit beautifully on this size card - no surprise really as I do this size card a LOT!
The next square is 9.9cm and if you are wondering why I am so precise, then I will explain. You can get 6 x 9.9 cm squares out of A4 so again this is a size I use a lot for workshops etc. The smaller square has the Small Christmas Corner and again it fits perfectly and is easy to line up.
You would think they had been designed to do that, oh yes that is right they were.
Christmas is one of the few times I want to make cards at speed so being able to cut out a stack of 14cm squares and 9.9 cm squares means I can crack on with the card making.
I sometimes sit down and cut them out of card oddments and it is easier to store them when they are all the same size and means I am ready for that quick card I forgot, or when my brain wants to make something NOW.
I will be back later if my projects dry and I get some photos that is. I hope you are enjoying the day, don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win a prize.
